Key Signing Party
Sun, 12pm - 1pm in Monterey III [?]
Contact: TBA
Open to: All registered conference attendees
The need for security over electronic communications is ever increasing in the world and moreso within the O.T.O. with a variety of documents having the need to maintain secrecy. We have decided to utilize this rare event where members from all over gather to one location. The purpose is to sign each other's GPG/PGP keys in person, thus verifying identity in the flesh. If you use GPG/PGP then this will likely be of interest to you. If you do not use it, then you might consider implementing it and generating a key pair so you can participate as well. For those more or less unfamiliar with computers yet use them for communicating, a document (or a few) will be forthcoming that will hopefully walk you through how to do this. The key signing party itself will only require that those who attend bring their KeyID written on multiple cards with your name to hand out. These are then collected by each person and used to increase the trust on the keys because you now know without a doubt who the key belongs too. This may sound like gibberish to you now, but watch out for future NOTOCON news that will explain the details.

Sunday Gnostic Mass
Sun, 5pm - 6pm in Dallas [?]
Open to: Minerval and above
This large mass on Sunday evening at NOTOCON VII will be a celebratory mass. If you have attended an E.G.C. ceremony with a mass, where only those being baptized or confirmed took communion; that would be an example of a celebratory mass where the people do not communicate but still take part in the rite. In the case of this particular mass, communion will be taken only by the priest; but, the people are still an important part of the rite. The anthem during this celebration will be sung using the arrangement composed by Frater HK. If you would like to practice you can check out the mp3 and pdf of the music. You can also read about this on our blog. In person practice time will be made available on Sunday prior to Mass.
The ritualists will be:
Priest - Fr. Sabazius
Priestess - Sr. Helena
Deacon - TBA
Child - TBA
